This is the easiest, simplest recipe, and it works so well! After a day of running around after my kids, or sweating my butt off pushing a big double pram up a huge hill, on the way back from town, I still smell good!
You can use a little spatula to get the deodorant out, or I just use my fingers, and rub it in like a cream.
Ingredients:
Coconut oil
Arrowroot powder
Baking soda
Essential oils of choice
First, melt approximately 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Next, stir in 1-2 teaspoons of arrowroot powder, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Finally, add in your essential oil of choice, depending on what scent you would like your deodorant to have. I went with lavender, as it has calming properties for the skin, and orange. And it’s as easy as that! It takes around 5 minutes to make and can all be bought from the supermarket, apart from the essential oils.
Give it a go, it’s honestly amazing and so much better for you, and the environment, than shop bought stuff! xxxx
